Hola lovelies,
Buenas días! Last week I was fortunate to spend some time in beautiful Mérida, Mexico. Mérida is in Mexican state of Yucatán and known as the cultural capital of the peninsula.
Golf, of course, brought me south of the border! This time I was on the other side of the bag as I caddied for my boyfriend in his PGA Latino America event. The event was held at Yucatán Country Club. The club was one of the most beautiful courses I’ve seen. Literally every hole I stepped up on was aesthetically pleasing to the eye.
The week went by quickly as most tourneys do, so time spent off the course was limited. We were able to enjoy some authentic Mexican cuisine and by enjoy I mean we ate it almost every single night! Best burritos and guacamole I have ever had! Even though I wasn’t able to completely immerse myself in their culture, I did manage to get a little tourist shopping in! This purse!
I was excited to take this little piece of Yucatán home with me. I love the fringe detailing at the bottom and the pink gives it a feminine touch. Thank you Yucatán artisans, your work is gorgeous! I hope to be back to visit sometime in the near future.
Chao,
xx Renée
